RF lifting — a worthy alternative to plastic surgery

Plastic surgery, like any surgical intervention, always poses a considerable risk, which is not always justified. Of course, there are many situations when it is impossible to avoid plastic surgery, but is it worth risking your beauty and health when there is a worthy alternative? Such alternative methods include radio frequency lifting (RF lifting) — a procedure that is not just comparable to plastic surgery, but even surpasses it in some aspects.

Surgical lifting involves “cutting off” the excess skin, causing it to become tighter and giving the face or body a more youthful appearance. At the same time, the dermis does not change its quality characteristics, that is, it remains flabby and thinned. To grow a new dermal matrix, stimulation of collagen fibers from the inside is necessary. Only in this case will it be possible to eliminate wrinkles and even out the dermal pattern. For this purpose, the method of radio wave skin tightening was developed.

What happens during radio wave skin tightening?

With age, the collagen fibers of the skin become exfoliated and are unable to keep the skin toned. Radio wave lifting is aimed at restoring the framework of lifting fibers.

RF – short for Radio Frequency, which means electrical current in the radio frequency range. RF – impulses, passing through tissues and encountering resistance, cause tissue structures to heat up to 65°C, in particular collagen and elastin, which are of a protein nature. Protein is known to coagulate and harden when exposed to heat. Likewise, collagen molecules curl into tight spirals, providing the skin with a powerful lifting effect. In addition, radiofrequency exposure triggers the process of lipolysis in the subcutaneous fat, as a result of which fat is broken down into glycerol and fatty acids. The products of this breakdown are easily removed from the body by being processed in the liver.

Indications for RF lifting

Face:

  • withering of the skin;
  • ptosis (drooping) of facial tissues;
  • "shaved" — sagging areas of skin and hypodermis (subcutaneous fat), changing the contours of the oval of the face;
  • wrinkles around the eyes, “crow’s feet”;
  • deep expression wrinkles in the area of the nasolabial triangle, on the forehead;
  • acne scars;
  • photoaging.

Body:

  • fat deposits in problem areas;
  • cellulite;
  • stretch marks;
  • loss of skin elasticity;
  • sagging skin in problem areas;
  • skin photoaging.

Contraindications to the use of RF lifting

RF lifting has absolute and relative contraindications.

Absolute contraindications include any malignant neoplasms, pregnancy at any stage, lupus erythematosus, scleroderma, viral infections, severe hypertension, as well as the presence of silicone or fresh scars in the affected area.

Among the relative contraindications, the most significant are exacerbation of acne or chronic skin diseases, as well as the acute stage of rosacea.

When will the results be visible?

At the end of the first session, significant positive changes will already be visible, which will intensify after several more procedures. A total of 6 to 12 sessions will be required. The rejuvenation effect will increase for another six months after completing the full course of procedures.

Radio wave lifting makes the body more toned and elastic, and the skin dense and smooth (the severity of stretch marks decreases). If RF face lifting is performed, wrinkles and sagging skin disappear, skin elasticity and clarity of contours return.

The results achieved will be  last for two to three years, but this is provided that bad habits, stress, poor nutrition and a crazy pace of life are excluded.

General recommendations when using RF lifting

During the procedure, you must remove contact lenses and metal objects.

You should not sunbathe for three days after RF exposure.

It is not possible to carry out other procedures in the area of RF exposure on the same day.

Immediately after the procedure, you should not subject the treated areas of skin to mechanical stress (rubbing, scratching, etc.)

The undeniable advantages of RF lifting

  • Suitable for all ages and skin types.
  • The session lasts only 15-20 minutes.
  • The procedure is completely controlled.
  • Both skin and muscle tissue are smoothed.
  • There are practically no contraindications.
  • Painless, that is, no anesthesia is required, since during the procedure only pleasant warmth is felt.
  • There are no stitches, bruises or post-operative swelling.
  • The procedure does not require a preparatory or rehabilitation period.
  • There are no restrictions on the area of the area treated in one procedure.

In confirmation of the above, it should be noted that among patients, RF lifting reviews are mostly positive.

Compatible with other procedures

On the one hand, RF lifting is an absolutely self-sufficient procedure, on the other hand – perfectly complements other programs, such as photorejuvenation, chemical peels, mesotherapy.

The use of radio wave lifting allows you to maintain the effect of plastic surgery in the later stages, eliminating the need for repeated operations.
